This is an original watercolor of two Taiwan blue magpies, painted on high quality Hahnemühle 425 gsm (g/m2) watercolor paper. The Taiwan blue magpie is a member of the Crow family. It is an endemic species living in the mountains of Taiwan at elevations of 300 to 1200m. I was attracted by its almost iridescent blue colors.
