This is my tribute to the beautiful Sycamore Tree which was recently and cruelly cut down.....
Poem by Anne-Marie Ellis..
300 years I have stood in this gap,
A beautiful landmark upon the map,
Then someone came and cut me down,
A silent scream as I hit the ground,
But please do not weep for me,
Just because I was a famous tree,
For another will grow in my stead,
So do not weep, for I am not dead.
The sides are painted so no real requirement to frame.
It also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
