Original artwork description:

'The Sweetest Day' is an original drawing in pencil and ink on handstained paper. Texture and detail has then been added with the skinniest of pen nibs which creates lots of detail to look at close up. I love to experiment with abstract shape and pattern within a drawing and my imagination meanders in a happy way as I draw using words to tell a small tale within the drawing. Measuring 115mm x 175mm this study shows a delicate hare dreamily looking to the sky...'The sweetest day...is one spent with you...' I have lots of people that this drawing is dedicated to...I think everyone has someone they could happily say this to.....
