Original artwork description:

This painting captures a moment I discovered the reason for rather erratic behavior by a Swan I had been watching and following along the lakeside at Hever Castle in Kent. I had been puzzled by her hectic movements and dartings away from other birds on the water and as she disappeared into the undergrowth I scrambled in after her, thinking she may be hurt. At that moment she emerged and I discovered her "secret" and had my Canon to hand to capture it!
