Acrylic tempera, enamel and ink painting on cardboard in contemporary figurative style dedicated to Italian values with reference to Dante Alighieri, universal genius, and to popular traditions and excellences, including the production of wine preserved in fine barrels and soberly tasted. The work is also inspired by one of the many cultural initiatives throughout Italy aimed at celebrating the seven hundredth anniversary of the death of the Supreme Poet: an evening dedicated to the recitation of Dante's Canticle and the branding of a barrel as a symbol of a commemorative seal.
