Original artwork description:

I am inspired by colour and a blank canvas. I had no idea how this would turn out. It started out as a regular matrix of different squares, ranging from white to black. Then I put slightly smaller blocks of monochrome paint on top and continued working with smaller and smaller brushes. Some additional muted tones were also added. The overall effect is that it looks great from a distance and continues to reveal detail as one approaches it.

It would suit a wide variety of settings, from a modern apartment to a traditional home. It is ready to hang.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint added in multiple layers using a brush
