Keiichiro first carefully selects stones that he has collected himself and places them on a sheet of calligraphy paper. When arranging the stones, he is conscious of the relationship between each stone, just like the garden of a Japanese temple or the huge stones of the Iwakura ruins. Then, to make "order" and "disorder" coexist, He gathers fallen leaves, nuts, bird feathers, etc. in the palm of his hand and scatters them from above. He repeats this over and over again to take a number of pictures. These are later digitally layered to create the work.
The paper used in the original print consists of a neutral paper and a plaster layer, the surface of which is further coated with its plaster containing mica. The coat solution is carefully applied in two layers. The result is a natural and deep image quality that is full of life. The plaster provides a high degree of preservation.
The surface of each print is sprayed with a varnish to protect it from UV rays.
A certificate of authenticity will be included.
