Original artwork description:

An enigmatic piece of sculpture in papier mache clay and tissue paper. The piece shows a man standing quietly ...and an air of peace and quietness surrounds him. What is he doing? Is he lonely, is he watching or waiting? Although outwardly he is a rugged man, his face has a softness and a sensitivity.
This lovely piece of sculpture has the texture of ceramic although it is almost completely made of paper. It is small enough to hold in your hands to admire its weight and tactile nature and texture.
All colour and detail is achieved using coloured tissue paper and powder glazes.
This piece is varnished and free standing and is signed and dated on the bottom.
Please always contact me to discuss overseas shipping costs....the shipping cost is calculated to cover the heavier pieces and refunds are sometimes available on smaller or lighter pieces.
