Dusk is an angel, a sprite, a fairy spirit, sitting in the branches watching the light fade.
She gazes towards that last bit of pink before the sultry blue of the night sets in.
Her wings fill the branches of the tree with light and illuminate the tree's dark flowers.
This painting is really a celebration of my favourite colour - Phthalo Blue.
(NB one photo is taken under spotlight and it makes the red really stand out)

Painted on 30 x 20 inch linen canvas using professional acrylics.
Ready to hang.
The image is continued over the edge of the canvas so there is no need for a frame.
Painted throughout April 2021.
