This painting is in Ann's characteristic style; the canvas is hand stretched and prepared, Ann then coats it in a turpsy red before setting out the scene in oil paints using a brush. Ann builds on this to acquire the impasto effect with the waves and shoreline using a palette knife.

Framed in a white floater tray frame the painting is ready to hang.
