This artwork belongs to a series called "Natural Flags", which are landscapes inspired by the work of landscapers, they can also be from trips I have made, or by photographs of places I have seen in magazines, on the internet, or listening to music.
This flag or landscape of more or less abstract shapes has a white background because it represents a sunrise. We can see a boat that seems to travel through a river, the clouds or the universe. But perhaps it is a symbolic journey that tells us that the sun is always above the clouds and bad weather.
No frame is needed, because the canvas has 3.5 cm deep painted edges.
