Original artwork description:

This painting, drawing and stencil screenprint records a journey taken around the area of Rowbarton in Taunton, Somerset. The images brings together various views and objects seen during the walk, looking at the plants, buildings, roadside, signs, trees, figures, memories and more.

The painting is layered with many images, becoming a collage of images that seek to form a form of landscape painting that records the experience of walking and being in the urban landscape. Composed using acrylic paint, posca pens, acrylic printing ink, pencil and ink, form the image as I noted the 'sky is so blue', whilst on this walk.

Materials used:

Liquitex acrylic paint, posca pens, drawing ink, pencil, acrylic printing ink.
