The reduction in pollution levels during the Lockdown in the UK produced the most beautiful skies I have ever seen in an urban environment. This painting forms part of a series of skyscapes, or nocturnes, that I witnessed from my home. The part below the horizon in all of the paintings in the series is imagined, either a sea or landscape or, in this case, a body of water reflecting the sky above.
The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness. The painting is on professional quality fine grain stretched canvas by Belle Arti and is signed on the reverse. The painting is 40 cm by 40 cm.
The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked and insured courier. The painting is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
