The show must go on 2020
I dream about a show
A real Westend show
But now only in my dreams
As there is no more Westend and ice creams
How lovely it was to dress up
Travelling to the city - a train trip
To the hustle and buzzle of the theater areas ...
Now all that is left is Corona hysterias
I dream of the day we will go to a show again
Standing ready with a pen
For a signature or two
From favourite actors in the avenue
I forgot to appreciate the normal we had
Should have gone to a show or two more - now so sad
Lessons have been learnt, like the politicians refrain
Appreciation is now the key, and no complain.
Hope the show will continue soon
Night and noon
Like before
That would be a great score.
To all the actors on ice
Stay safe is the only advice.
