This artwork belongs to a series called "Natural Flags", which are landscapes inspired by the works of landscapers, they can also be from trips I have made, or by photographs of places I have seen in magazines, on the internet, or listening to music.
This flag or landscape of abstract shapes does not look like an unusual landscape, it is full of colored bushes, clouds, etc. But there is something that catches our attention, not as a point of light, but of shadow, it is that black spot that seems to be threatening one of the shapes, which has lost its color.
Perhaps it is an oil stain, pollution, or social aspects such as misunderstanding, although I think it could symbolize many other negative aspects such as wars, crises, etc. And it is possible that we are not before bushes, but before people.
The canvas does not need to be framed as it is 3.5cm deep and has painted edges.
