In this oil painting, the setting sun burnishes the sky and water in muted yellow and brown tones, complementing the deep dark purples of the upper sky, creating a peaceful and tranquil place to rest one's gaze.

The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness on a fully archval medium grain canvas panel, measuring 14 in by 10 in which will fit many ready made frames.
