Circle is a very powerful universal symbol. It represents the notion of wholeness, original perfection, the infinite, protection, the self, timeless…
Painting an animal within a circle I imagine that it will be protected by the power of this ancient symbol. Having created this mandala triptych I expressed my wish to see Blue whales, inoffensive sea giants, living free and safe in the environment that is theirs.
