A joyful image of two women raising their faces to inhale turquoise; their long hair cascading.
Into this palette of pale skin, warm yellow and turquoise, I have added just a few spots of pink in the heart-shaped lips and centres of the little turquoise flowers.

I've kept the colour light and bright because today had a spring-like feel. Birds were singing outside my studio window and the sun was trying to shine.

Drawn in chalk pastel on Somerset lightly textured 300gsm paper; signed bottom right.

Most of the photographs show the drawing unframed - in my studio and in my home, and there's one as a CGI of how it might appear framed in a room setting.
