Surreal portrait of a woman, with tropical fruit platter detail.

This work represents semi-self-portrait in imaginary settings.
Inspired by my own home country, Sri Lanka, the deliciousness of local fruits, aroma, flora and colour.

Process: Creative expression through medium manipulation and
idea generation from personal stories are the approaches of realising this piece.

* Deeply expressive facial features and body movements in my works are highly influenced by my cultural heritage and decades long figure studies of historical frescoes and murals in spiritual locations from my birth country.
