Artwork description:

This image is created from original photographs taken in Southwold along the Suffolk coastline in England. It has been created by layering and juxtaposing up to 40 different photographic details to create an entirely new scene, which captures a sense of the coastline but leaves room for your own imagination.

My aim was to create the sense of being on the beach, exposed to the elements. I have used lots of textures in the image, giving it a particularly tactile feel, hence the title 'The Sand Between my Toes'
