Recently with my oil paintings I have been focusing on painting backgrounds, they are just backgrounds so they don't matter too much and I can become more loose and expressive. Oil is not an ideal medium to use for stenciling, everything gets very mucky! But it's actually this sticky mess that creates a unique quality, the stencil gets covered in paint and when you change colour you get the little remnants of the previous colour. And as the stencil gets more covered in paint it prints itself at random.
This creation explores the inevitability of outcomes despite different beginnings. Through abstract expressionism and oil mediums, I've layered textures and colors to evoke introspection and acceptance. Subtle inscriptions stir thoughts about fate and free will. It serves as a reminder that amidst life's chaos, some elements remain unchanged, provoking a deep, personal connection in any space it inhabits.
