On the hill, a man stood lost in thought,
With his head bowed low, and his heart distraught,
Unconscious steps had brought him here,
To the summit where the world was clear.
A white cloud lay at his feet,
Motionless, as if there was something to greet,
Something sad that only it could see,
A reflection of the man's own misery.
The wind blew softly, the grasses swayed,
The man remained still, his thoughts unchained,
For in this moment, he was alone,
Lost in a world that he called his own.
The cloud seemed to speak, in a silent tongue,
A message to the man who had come,
"Find solace in the world around,
For life is but a fleeting sound."
The man listened, his heart aching,
His soul weary, and his spirit breaking,
But in the cloud's words, he found a glimmer,
A light to guide him, a reason to shimmer.
For in the midst of sorrow and pain,
There is always hope, a chance to gain,
The strength to rise, to face the day,
To find a new path, a different way.
And so the man stood, his head held high,
And the cloud at his feet began to sigh,
For it knew that in this moment, he had found,
The courage to move forward, unbound.
