In this watercolor etude, I aimed to convey the mysterious atmosphere of a summer garden at twilight. The last ray of sun, like a soft golden brush, glides over the velvety petals of a garden rose, dancing with sparkles on the emerald leaves. The air is filled with the scents of blooming jasmine and warm, moist earth, and in the distance, the quiet chirping of a cricket can be heard. Everything around is immersed in a serene evening, filled with the quiet sorrow of the departing day and a sense of the fragility of fleeting beauty, but also with faith in the arrival of a new day tomorrow.

Through this series, I aimed to remind myself that winter, with its gray and gloomy days, is not eternal; the promise of spring and its vibrant blooms will inevitably arrive. This series includes small sketches of flowers, drawn as if catching a fleeting impression. Additionally, some sheets incorporate typographic elements and the producer’s logo, enhancing the notion of transience and contributing to the feeling of an artist's diary. This series invites to reflect on the cyclical nature of seasons and the beauty that often lies just beneath the surface, waiting to be uncovered.

I think the paintings of this series will look good in a thin frame and a wide enough colored paspartum, bringing lightness to your room - like an elusive breeze of the first spring wind.
