A Landscape of Arundel from the East Side... Arundel is a charming town in West Sussex. It strengths and weaknesses come from the fact that care has been taken to prevent it from becoming 'modernised' which leaves it charismatic but, something of an anachronism.
I had a canvas that was long and thin and this composition seemed to fit.
