The River Dee runs through the extreme south east of Cumbria.
It rises at Dent Head Farm on the Dales Way, formed from several smaller streams emanating from Blea Moor Moss.
I followed along it on a walk back in August while visiting Sedbergh. I loved the reflections in the water and the iron coloured rocks visible under the surface. Two dry stone walls converge between the trees on the far side.
This painting comes beautifully framed, see photos.
