Original artwork description:

I'm always amazed when there is a full moon and a really clear night just how much light there is away from any artificial light. This is a picture of the tide rising onto a sandy beach by moonlight. The moon is shining through the thin part of the breaking wave at the top turning it green. The foam on top of the water from the previous breaker, which is now rolling back towards the sea, casts a shadow onto the moonlit sand underneath. The sea reflects the bright low silver moon. In my mind I hear the sound of the breakers and the water running back.
