This work was inspired by Carlos Castaneda book "The Teachings of Don Juan" where old shaman, who was so knowledgeable and powerful he could turn into animals and birds, who had allies among spirits and plants and even could foresee his own death, tells the legend to his apprentice about one thing he desired the most and could not get: he always wanted to go back - back to his village before he became the magus. And there was no way back, back to his Ixtlan.
This theme of dreaming about "the return" to the "previous me" has always been a very powerful one.
