Recently I've found in an old cardboard box a black and white photograph (from the early '60s) of one of my aunts handling a vinyl record trying not to touch it to avoid scratches. That picture was very nice so i decided to turn it into a painting. I love that lazy afternoon atmosphere and the way she smile reading the label. I'd like to think it's a Beatles record, but it could be anything. I used brilliant colors to emphasize the love of life of the young girl.
gesso primer, acrylic colors, crayons, oil
