do we really know who is around us really well? who spends himself as a friend, really gives disinterested and right advice for us? or is he doing it for his own interest? with this painting I wanted to take inspiration from two characters from fairy tales, the Talking Cricket (conscientious and wise) and Pinocchio (liar and childish) ... who proclaims himself a true friend and dispenses advice often hides behind something else.
