Original artwork description:

This abstract mixed media painting, titled 'The rawness of space', evokes a sense of vastness and awe. I created the background of this piece by pouring acrylics onto raw canvas, a technique which allows the colours to blend resulting in a fluid, water-like base. I then worked over this layer with oil paint, creating a network of seed-like marks that form a shape reminiscent of a lunar lake. A subtle pink line of watercolour pencil traverses the canvas, adding a touch of warmth and connecting with the pinky purples of the background.

This piece is signed and dated on the back and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. It will be carefully wrapped in tissue and foam board and shipped in a cardboard box within five working days.
