Artwork description:

This print started life as a photograph taken in the 1970's. The place is in central Colorado in the West Elk Mountains south of McClure Pass near Paonia Reservoir. The foreground is actually a field covering an enormous mudslide that occurred a long time in the past, but is still moving. Each of the 11 color separations was drawn by hand on transparency film as part of the silkscreen process (see my blog).

This artwork is hand printed from silkscreens using photo stencils on archival printmaking paper, using water-based inks. 11 colors. Maximum image size: 9" x 12" Overall paper size: 11" x 15"

This edition is limited to 15 copies, and each print is numbered, titled and signed by the artist. Each print is considered an original, and can vary slightly from the others. 2021

My print(s) are carefully packaged between multiple sheets of cardboard, matboard and padding, insured to the value of the artwork, and shipped via USPS.

Francis Stanton retains all copyright to the artwork. The copyright does not transfer with the sale of this print.
