The Apple Store Chicago with it's iconic radius glass corners, Mac-Book ultra-thin roof, and amazing views captured by photographer William Dey.
Every design feature minimizes the boundaries between the interior and exterior, including the ultra-thin roof and 32-foot glass walls. The transparency is heightened with radius corners of glass that visually disappear. The architects also tapered the metallic-colored roof’s edges so it visually rests more lightly on top of the glass walls. top of the glass walls.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this artwork will be donated to The Chicago Architecture Center. Formerly known as the Chicago Architecture Foundation, the Chicago Architecture Center is a nonprofit cultural organization with tours, exhibitions, programs and events for all ages.
