This painting is part of the series 'Night and Day' which I started in 2020. The dark color palette refers to the night and evokes a feeling of tranquility, calmness and silence.
There are many layers of transparent and opaque paint in which I scratched and altered with all kinds of tools. This gives the work great depth and visual texture.
