At the first light of dawn on the banks of a small canal, a woman goes about her daily routine, washing dishes and utensils in the calm pre-dawn light. As the fog slowly starts lifting, the palms towering above are bathed in a soft, golden light and distant birdcalls mingles with the gentle lapping of the canal's surface against the shore.
The sun is still low, but it won't be long before the day's tropical heat and the heavy humidity make it unbearable to be outside.
Shot in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam, in 2024.
