The Pythia was the name of the high priestess of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi in Greece. One of the stories says that the Pythia delivered oracles in a altered state induces by smokes coming from a breach in the ground, and that the priests had to interpreted her speech, but it is also said that the Pythia was speaking intelligibly, and giving prophecies in her own voice. In some ways by the means of painting the artist interpreted this photography from a fashion model. To paint her portrait is about the story between the artist and his model. Is it still the case? Is the model still the condition of the making of art? Of course not, then what does this portrait says? This painting is the first portrait of the Pythia painted by the artist. It speak for itself.
