No matter what we go through each year, nature reminds us that renewal is always possible. Spring is late this year and the bluebells are out now. A trip to Shotover Woods just outside Oxford filled me with joy and made me feel as if the winter was finally coming to an end. I've painted this with loose strokes and marks using both brushes and knives. The paint is quite thick in places.
I've used acrylic on canvas, varnished it and the sides are painted white. It's strung on the back and ready to hang (or frame).
45cm x 45cm x 4cm.
Signed on the back and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. Please let me know if you'd like it signed on the front.
