This work was one of the finalists in the Figurative section at The Doyles Art Awards 2024.

"The Plight of the Homeless" is an oil painting that captures the harsh reality faced by many homeless individuals in affluent urban settings. Set against the backdrop of a rain-soaked city street, the painting depicts a homeless man and his loyal dog sitting despondently on the sidewalk.
