Inspired by the beautiful Balos Lagoon in Crete, Greece. The jaunty step of the girl combined with the pop of red in the umbrella speaks to me of optimism in the face of impending doom. I was reminded of my favourite book from my childhood, Pollyanna, where the heroine would put a positive twist on everything.
