Artwork description:

I’m always inspired by those imaginary dark moments at sea. I love the feel and atmosphere of this print.
It was printed from the plate shown in the photos which was made from cardboard with additional textures of glue, paper and carborundum grit. You can see the paper masks I used to allow me to paint in the ship and the lighthouse. There is quite an emboss on the paper from the plate, the paper is 250gsm BFK Rives.
This is number 3 from a limited edition of 10. Each print is original as the plate is hand inked for each impression, and they vary slightly.
It is supplied mounted and cello wrapped ready to frame.

Materials used:

Etching ink , watercolour
