Original artwork description:
I painted this 24x18'' oil on canvas near at Acaster Malbis just south of York. It's a proper plein-air painting, painted on the spot. I think this gives it a certain vibrancy lacking in much of studio work.
To save on commission (you don't want to pay commission on the frame) and postage, I'll selling it unframed. It's painted round the edge and D-rings and string are attached so it looks fine as it is, and it is ready to hang. It will, however, look even better in a good frame. It's a standard size so you should be able to buy a ready-made frame quite cheaply.
