Artwork description:

This is a reduction linocut print combines my great love, Kew Gardens and its beautiful Victorian building called The Orangery; and as it’s been a while since I’ve featured one of my blackbirds I thought how perfect to have one of these curious little birds hidden in the beautiful shrubbery just below the arched window.
Because this is a very layered lino print you will find bumps and lumps and textural inconsistencies on the surface of the print, but these are all signs of a handmade piece of art and not a digital copy.
Please keep in mind that there will be slight variations in each print in the edition but the overall image is the same.

Somerset satin 250gsm and oil based inks
