Original artwork description:

This was the view east along the coast from our balcony in the Château Hotel in Kenting. I drew a picture of it 16 years ago when we were staying here for our honeymoon and wanted to do another during this visit. The view is beautiful and the old settlement always intrigued me. (There is also a beautiful fun short hike around the Frog Rock coast on the coral rocks for anyone who wants to try it, we did it and it was really nice) This picture was trickier than expected to draw as the rising sun was directly behind it and too bright in the morning and it was too hot to draw on the balcony in the sun from 11am until 4.30pm. Luckily I figured out that from around 3 pm as the sun moved west it would provide some shade behind a column on our balcony, so I squeezed myself into the shaded area and drew the parts I could see! When the sun went behind a cloud I would move forward and draw the beach section of the picture and when it came out I would hide in the shade and draw Frog Rock and the water! It was definitely a challenging process that took a few days and lots of cold drinks in the heat and shade to finish! Around 4.30 the heat would subside a little and become more bearable until the sunset around 5.15pm.

Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
