This is a ‘plein air’ painting I made while visiting the old Quarry at Monkton. The quarry is now serving as a nature reserve so it is a pleasant place to visit and maybe learn something new about our environment and nature.

It shows the rim of the quarry, which is like a large ampitheatre, with plants and paths below, and fields beyond.
A lovely place to be.

This painting measures 10” x 14” plus the frame. It comes in a painted hardwood frame. (ref 1554) It is signed, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
