"The old pear trees in the garden", acrylic on canvas, 54X65 cm

I've had the idea of this painting while I was looking at the beautiful light, at the begining of autumn, on the branches of the old pear trees in the orchard of my garden.
Main colors are dark grey and ornage browns, green, and blue ! There's a lot of transparent layers wich give richness to the painting. I've used acrylic markers and acrylic. I love the high contrast between the bright greens and the warm dark grey. Instead it's a dark painting, it isn't sad. Colors are bright and pure. This artwork is painted in a contemporary, gestural way. There's some "square lines" under the painting. I thought about the idea of wires that maintain the branches.
