Muscular Dominican boy in swimsuit sits on old fishing boat. This painting is from a series of photos I shot of my friend Jeison on a beach near Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. The painting is acrylic on canvas and is done in a loose, impressionistic style with the emphasis on light and atmosphere rather than fine detail. The painting is on unstretched canvas and image area measures approximately 22x29.5in. (55x74cm).
PLEASE NOTE: This artwork is on unstretched canvas and will be shipped rolled in a heavy-duty mailing tube. Take it to your framer just as you would a stretched canvas; stretching a canvas prior to framing is a standard service at any good frame shop.
