*****Work selected for the European watercolor exhibition held at the XXVII Watercolor Symposium that took place in August 2024, in Tampere, Finland****. In this work inspired by the Lagunas de Ruidera, Spain, I sought to capture the serenity and ephemeral beauty of nature through impressionism and watercolor. The soft tones and fluid brushstrokes invite contemplation and a respite in the midst of daily chaos, winter was already beginning and the trees devoid of leaves were beginning to turn brown. My intention is for this landscape to inspire peace and harmony in every space, bringing a bit of the tranquility of the natural world to the home of whoever observes it. This Natural Park is a beauty and a true oasis in the center of the country; here the Guadiana River is born and it is made up of a lagoon group of 11 lagoons connected to each other by waterfalls.
