Original artwork description:

Extra large textured oil painting of an oak tree in all 4 seasons.
This painting was completed in public at the Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery and Museum, where I was artist in residence after winning the People’s choice award there in 2019 and 2022.
This painting was a finalist in The VAA Artist of The Year Awards.

In this scene we start with a clear winters day on a snow covered field.
In this field, the tree has the last of autumns leaves on one side and a layer of snow on the furthest
Which then drifts into early Spring, snowdrops are in full blossom and further into spring, blue bells are forming on the ground.
Then the scene is drifting into full Summer on a bright sunny day, with a full canopy of leaves still growing up into the tree
Finally time is drifting into Autumn with the glorious colours of this season, with leaves falling to the ground this Oak is finally getting ready for its winter sleep.
This painting is textured and layered overtime with pallet knife and brush and is painted around the sides so it can be hung without a frame.
All paintings are packaged in a wooden box and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
