What does "surfing" means in the contemporary society. How can we look beyond the meaning of usual words and reflect on their value? What about the context?

The distorsion of perception is one of Dan's recurrent subjects. He explores ways to stimulate awareness in the viewer through a mix of figurative and expressive obvious traces of thick brushes, using the chaotic interaction of the pigments as a base for the next layer. He often places elements that seems to be random but to the open mind contain the necessary stimuli for an increased conscience about certain contemporary realities.
