This is an encaustic painting over a solid wood board. Its size is 50 x 60 x 2 cm. Encaustic is a wax based paint composed of beeswax, damar resin and pigment or oil paint, which is kept molten on a heated palette. When It's applied to the surface with brushes then it's reheated again in order to fuse the paint, bringing the colors into a harmonious composition.
