THIS ARTWORK IS AN AWARD WINNER - The Lakes Artists Societys Young Artist Award 2019
My style usually consists of white backgrounds when drawing animal subjects in colour pencil, but for this piece I really wanted to do a full background and do this gorgeous baby Gorilla justice and in cooperate the Gorillas habitat.
If you're looking for something vibrant to brighten up your walls then this piece will do just that. Over 45 hours of work went into this... and a lot of various shades of green pencils (14 different greens to be exact)!!
The frame is simple white and wooden to not distract the eye from the artwork, with a nice chunky white mount to compliment to piece perfectly.
Done using the highest of quality paper and pencils.
